Ten layouts. Preview, optionally type in your week, download a PDF. Most people grab the classic hourly one and print it blank.

How to use a weekly schedule template

  1. 1. Pick the grid that matches your week. Hourly if you live by the clock. Simple boxes if you just need seven capture areas.
  2. 2. Decide blank vs filled. Most people print blank and write. Recurring blocks can be typed in first.
  3. 3. Download the PDF and print. Landscape letter is the default. Switch to A4 if you are outside the US.
  4. 4. Repeat next week. Change the “week of” date and download again, or photocopy a blank master.

Weekly schedule template FAQ

Answers to common questions about our free weekly schedule templates.

What is a weekly schedule template?
A weekly schedule template is a one-page grid of the seven (or five) days in a week, usually with hours down the side. You print it or fill it on a computer, then use it as a planner, timetable, or time-blocking calendar.
Are these weekly schedule templates free to download?
Yes. Every template on this site is free. Download a single printable PDF or the full ZIP. No account and no email required.
Can I print the weekly schedule and write on it?
That’s the default. Leave the grid blank, download the PDF, and print as many copies as you need. If you prefer, click cells on the site to add typed blocks first, then print.
Does the week start on Monday or Sunday?
Both. The classic template starts Monday. There is a Sunday-start version, and every template lets you switch the first day before you download.
What paper size should I use?
Letter landscape is the most readable for hourly weekly planners in the US. A4 and portrait are one click away if that’s what your printer expects.
Can I use this as a student timetable or work calendar?
Yes. There are dedicated templates for class timetables, a work week (Monday–Friday), fitness, meals, and family logistics. Same download flow on all of them.
